Men's Holiday Style Guide for Privilege Clothing - "Celebrate"

Coat & flannel button down by J. Lindeburg, Jeans by  Fidelity, Scarf by Selected Homme, Shoes by John Varvatos.
The final look from my Privilege Clothing "Men's Holiday Style Guide" collaboration is dedicated to the celebration. New Year's Eve is on the horizon and this J. Lindeburg coat is the perfect way to stay warm on a night out. Any one of the items from this post would be perfection, wrapped up, under the tree. Navy is the new black and goes so well with other great winter neutrals like this charcoal flannel shirt and my fav black, John Varvatos high tops. Infinity scarves are great for men because they stay exactly where you need them, no fussing with wrapping. #easy

Men's Holiday Style Guide for Privilege Clothing - "Gather"

"Gather" is the second look from my Privilege Clothing "Men's Holiday Style Guide". Here I focused on morning to night functionality. In the last week leading up to the holidays, a variety of tasks are incorporated into our daily lives. Some of us are still working, while the lucky ones are on holidays. Festive lunches and dinners are thrown into the mix of holiday shopping and planning, on top of our day to day routines. Depending on the weather, you can layer this great Hugo Boss jacket for a casual feel for day. The waxed finish and military detailing also provide enough pop for a night out. These John Varvatos high tops are the perfect west coast shoe for this time of year and are one of my favourite must haves from this collaboration.

Men's Holiday Style Guide for Privilege Clothing - "The Hunt"

Coat by SELECTED/HOMME, Pants by ZANEROBE, Sweater by ZANEROBE,
Hoodie by ALTERNATIVE APPAREL, Shoes by HUGO BOSS

I teamed up with Privilege Clothing to bring you some of my favourite holiday fashion items for men. I call this look "The Hunt" for its combination of comfort and style. Whether you're on the hunt for the perfect tree or the perfect gift, this look the perfect way to stay warm and look good. It was absolutely freezing when we shot this and the Selected coat did a great job of keeping me warm. If you don't already own a pair of Zanerobe "sure shots" you must invest. If you are struggling with gift ideas for the men in your life, go with a pair of these, trust me on this one! I wear mine multiple times a week. They are on point, make dudes look effortlessly stylish, go with everything, and above all else, are crazy comfortable. They will definitely solve any gift giving dilemma.

Have a Nice Day

I was lucky enough to receive some killer new swag this month from some local ladies doing amazing things in the fashion industry. Starting with my new fav fall/winter staple, the "Scout" luxury blanket scarf from Jackson Rowe. Founder & designer Julia is a self starter with a passion for beauty, and an eye for all things boho and amazing. My custom "Nobody Cares" t-shirt is from an upcoming special project from none other than Minting Die. Creative captain Deanna is one of the hardest working and innovative artists I know. My sterling knuckle rings are also from this dope brand.
What's old is new again… this vintage leather jacket was a surprise find from a friend's family wardrobe and I couldn't have done this shoot without it.
Check out the direct shopping links above to see what other products are available from these local wonder women, just in time for the holidays.

Deep Woods - Alternative Apparel

Deep in the forests of Vancouver's Stanley Park there is an undeniable energy amongst these wise old trees. I like to imagine the incredible stories they could tell me if only they could talk.
I was inspired by the woods for this look, and it definitely kept me warm while shooting. I am excited to feature my new cream waffle henley from Alternative Apparel, styled with distressed denim, a blue vintage button down, around my waist, and my "old faithful" military boots.

Marina Magic

Spontaneity shines when a life is being lived passionately. Sunsets don't last long, neither do shooting stars. Both last just long enough to inspire the hearts and imaginations of those who are fortunate enough to witness them. The "magic hour" of a Vancouver harbour is a moment that residents and visitors can only experience once a day, but it never gets old and is always a pleasure.
Light wash denim and extra long baseball tee from TopMan, Reason FUCC OFF sweatshirt, with my home team  Minting Die knuckle ring and white Converse high tops.
